Don Carson, Dark Ride Design

The video by Don Carson where he designed a pumpkin/squash-themed dark ride was fascinating to watch. I was impressed by how seamlessly he was able to transition between sketches and 3D models, using virtual reality and rendering technology to bring his designs to life. One of the most valuable lessons I took away from the video was the power of using red pencils in the sketching process, as they allow for quick and precise corrections. Additionally, the ability to scan physical sketches into 3D models in programs like SketchUp and Maya was a new concept for me and one that I am excited to experiment with in my own projects. Overall, the video was an enjoyable and educational experience, and I am eager to apply some of the techniques I learned to future projects.
